Construit en 1971 sous le nom <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong>, il a commenc\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re en op\u00e9rant la ligne Travem\u00fcnde (Allemagne) &#8211; Gedser (Danemark) pour le compte de <strong>Moltzau Line<\/strong>, compagnie renomm\u00e9e en 1974 <strong>Gedser-Travem\u00fcnde Ruten<\/strong>.<br><br><strong>Tr\u00e9gastel<\/strong> a remplac\u00e9 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/19\/m-v-corbiere-ex-benodet-1984-1990-brittany-ferries-channel-islands-ferries\/\" title=\"M\/V Corbi\u00e8re (ex-Benodet) (1984 \u2013 1990) \u2013 Brittany Ferries \/ Channel Islands Ferries\">B\u00e9nodet<\/a><\/strong> sur la ligne Roscoff &#8211; Plymouth. En 1989, la livraison du <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/05\/27\/m-v-bretagne\/\" title=\"M\/V Bretagne (1989 \u2013 2024) \u2013 Brittany Ferries\">Bretagne<\/a><\/strong> permet son transport sur la ligne Cherbourg &#8211; Poole op\u00e9r\u00e9e par Truckline. <strong>Tr\u00e9gastel<\/strong> sera finalement vendu \u00e0 <strong>P&amp;O<\/strong> en janvier 1992. Il continuera sa carri\u00e8re dans les \u00eeles \u00e9cossaises avant de gagner la mer Rouge en 2002. Elle op\u00e8re ses premiers services avec deux ferries de 93 m\u00e8tres de long, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.faktaomfartyg.se\/gedser_1963.htm\" title=\"\">Gedser<\/a><\/strong> et <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.faktaomfartyg.se\/travemunde_1964.htm\" title=\"\">Travem\u00fcnde<\/a><\/strong>. En 1967, <strong>Moltzau Line<\/strong> commande un premier ferry aux chantiers <em>Schiffbau-Gesellschaft Unterweser AG<\/em> pour remplacer <strong>Gedser<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 23 avril 1969, l&rsquo;armement commande aux chantiers un second ferry pour remplacer <strong>Travem\u00fcnde<\/strong>. La quille du futur <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong> est pos\u00e9e le 17 novembre 1970. La construction avance vite, permettant le lancement du navire le 09 mars 1971. Deux mois plus tard, le 19 mai, <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong> est livr\u00e9 \u00e0 son propri\u00e9taire. Cependant, le 20 mai 1971, sur son voyage de livraison, le ferry conna\u00eet un d\u00e9faut \u00e9lectronique qui n\u00e9cessite un arr\u00eat technique \u00e0 Rendsburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 22 mai, <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong> arrive dans son port d\u2019attae golfe Persiqueche o\u00f9 il est pr\u00e9par\u00e9 pour sa travers\u00e9e inaugurale vers Gedser, qui se tient le 25 mai 1971. Le 31 janvier 1975, la flotte de <strong>GT-Ruten A\/S<\/strong> s&rsquo;\u00e9tend avec la livraison du ferry <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/22\/m-v-prince-de-bretagne-1975-brittany-ferries\/\" title=\"M\/V Prince de Bretagne (1975) | Brittany Ferries\">Falster<\/a><\/strong>, construit en Norv\u00e8ge. La cohabitation entre <strong>Falster<\/strong> et <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong> ne dure que quelques semaines, <strong>Falster<\/strong> \u00e9tant affr\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e8s avril 1975 par <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/29\/brittany-ferries-lhistoire-depuis-1973\/\" title=\"Brittany Ferries | L\u2019histoire depuis 1973\">Brittany M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La ligen Gedser &#8211; Travem\u00fcnde conna\u00eet \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1970 un succ\u00e8s croissant, auquel <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong> et <strong>Gedser (3)<\/strong> ne peuvent plus r\u00e9pondre seuls. En d\u00e9cembre 1979, <strong>GT-Ruten A\/S<\/strong> commande ainsi <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (3)<\/strong> et met en vente <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong>. Le 31 d\u00e9cembre 1980, <strong>Travem\u00fcnde<\/strong> est vendu \u00e0 l\u2019armement yougoslave <strong>Prekokan Plovidba<\/strong> qui renomme le ferry <strong>Njegos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Njegos<\/strong> reste n\u00e9anmoins affr\u00e9t\u00e9 pendant 6 mois par <strong>GT-Ruten A\/S<\/strong>, le temps que son successeur soit livr\u00e9. <strong>Travem\u00fcnde (2)<\/strong> op\u00e8re ainsi sa derni\u00e8re travers\u00e9e entre Gedser et Travem\u00fcnde le 19 juin. Le 24 juin 1981, <strong>Njegos<\/strong> quitte Travem\u00fcnde pour la mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, o\u00f9 il est engag\u00e9 sur la ligne Bar (Mont\u00e9n\u00e9gro) &#8211; Bari (Italie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Njegos<\/strong> op\u00e8re ce service jusqu\u2019en mai 1984, lorsqu\u2019il est affr\u00e9t\u00e9 par <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/29\/brittany-ferries-lhistoire-depuis-1973\/\" title=\"Brittany Ferries | L\u2019histoire depuis 1973\">Brittany Ferries<\/a><\/strong> pour op\u00e9rer la ligne Saint-Malo &#8211; Portsmouth. Du 03 juillet au 06 octobre 1984, <strong>Njegos<\/strong> est op\u00e9r\u00e9 par <strong>Sally Line<\/strong> sur sa ligne reliant Ramsgate \u00e0 Dunkerque. pour les \u00eeles Shetland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En janvier 1992, <strong>Tr\u00e9gastel<\/strong> est vendu \u00e0 <strong>P&amp;O Steam Navigation Company<\/strong>. Renomm\u00e9 <strong>Treg<\/strong>, il est envoy\u00e9 aux chantiers <strong>Lloyd-Werft<\/strong> de Bremerhaven pour \u00eatre adapt\u00e9 aux besoins du service Aberdeen (\u00c9cosse) &#8211; Lerwick (\u00celes Shetland, Royaume-Uni). \u00c0 cette occasion, de nouvelles cabines sont construites \u00e0 la place de ses ponts garages et son certificat passager est r\u00e9duit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sous le nom <strong>St Clair<\/strong>, le ferry d\u00e9bute ses travers\u00e9es entre Aberdeen et Lerwick le 11 mars 1992. Durant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9, il op\u00e8re \u00e9galement des travers\u00e9es entre Lerwick et Bergen (Norv\u00e8ge). En 1995, des r\u00e9serves de flotabilit\u00e9 sont ajout\u00e9es sur les flancs de <strong>St Clair<\/strong>, alourdissant le ferry de pr\u00e8s de 100 tonnes. Apr\u00e8s avoir perdu la concession de la ligne, <strong>P&amp;O Scottish Ferries<\/strong> d\u00e9cide en effet de r\u00e9duire sa flotte. <strong>St Clair<\/strong> est imm\u00e9diatement vendu \u00e0 <strong>Baaboud Trading &amp; Shipping Agencies<\/strong> et renomm\u00e9 <strong>Barakat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une derni\u00e8re carri\u00e8re dans la mer Rouge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s une escale pour r\u00e9paration \u00e0 Rotterdam, <strong>Barakat<\/strong> appareille pour l\u2019Arabie Saoudite le 02 novembre 2002. \u00c0 son arriv\u00e9e dans la mer Rouge, <strong>Barakat<\/strong> est engag\u00e9 sur la ligne Djeddah (Arabie Saoudite) &#8211; Suakin (Soudan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En juillet 2011, le ferry est renomm\u00e9 <strong>Noor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 22 juillet 2021, <strong>Noor<\/strong> s\u2019\u00e9choue sur un r\u00e9cif au large de Suakin. Le navire perd l\u2019une de ses h\u00e9lices tandis que sa quille est lourdement endommag\u00e9e. Le 17 octobre, le ferry arrive \u00e0 Port-Soudan o\u00f9 il est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat de perte totale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 07 janvier 2022, l\u2019ex-<strong>Tr\u00e9gastel<\/strong> est vendu \u00e0 un ferrailleur indien qui l\u2019enregistre sous pavillon de Saint-Christophe-et-Ni\u00e9v\u00e8s.
