Condor 4<\/strong> est un hydropt\u00e8re construit par les chantiers Rodriquez<\/em> et mis en service par Condor Ltd<\/a><\/strong> en 1973. Depuis la faillite de Jersey Lines<\/strong>, en 1969, Condor Ltd<\/strong> voit ses trafics cro\u00eetre de mani\u00e8re exponentielle, ce qui justifie la mise en service d’une troisi\u00e8me vedette \u00e0 compter de l’\u00e9t\u00e9 1973.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condor 4<\/strong> est un hydropt\u00e8re de type RHS40, et est donc de m\u00eame type que Condor 3<\/a><\/strong>. Condor 4<\/strong> est livr\u00e9 \u00e0 Guernesey le 8 juin 1974 et d\u00e9bute son service sur la ligne Saint-Malo – Jersey – Guernesey le 11 juin 1974. Condor 4<\/strong> op\u00e8re ce service jusqu’au 7 novembre 1990, lorsqu’il est remplac\u00e9 au sein de la flotte par la mise en service de Condor 9<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s trois ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9sarmement \u00e0 Saint-Malo, Condor 4<\/strong> est vendu en 1993 \u00e0 l’armement grec Hermes Ferries Shipping Company, qui le renomme Iptamenos Hermes 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
