Le ferry d\u00e9bute sa carri\u00e8re sous le nom de <strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> le 04 mars 1996. Il est affect\u00e9 au transport de marchandises vers les \u00celes Anglo-normandes depuis le hub de Portsmouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> op\u00e8re ce service jusqu&rsquo;au 27 mars 2025. En effet, la perte de la licence d&rsquo;exploitation des services maritimes vers Jersey jusque l\u00e0 d\u00e9tenue par <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/29\/condor-ferries-lhistoire-depuis-1964\/\" title=\"Condor Ferries | L\u2019histoire depuis 1964\">Condor Ferries<\/a><\/strong> contraint l&rsquo;armement \u00e0 d\u00e9sarmer le ferry. L&rsquo;armement devient un acteur cl\u00e9 dans la logistique des \u00eeles lorsqu&rsquo;elle acquiert les deux-tiers de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/29\/condor-ferries-lhistoire-depuis-1964\/\" title=\"Condor Ferries | L\u2019histoire depuis 1964\">Condor Ltd<\/a><\/strong> en ao\u00fbt 1983, puis les activit\u00e9s de <strong>British Channel Island Ferries<\/strong> en janvier 1994.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En parall\u00e8le de l&rsquo;acquisition de <strong>BCIF<\/strong>, <strong>Commodore<\/strong> commande aux chantiers Koninklijke Schelddegroep B.V. de Flessingue (Pays-Bas) deux ferries rouliers pour assurer le transport de marchandises entre Portsmouth et les \u00celes Anglo-normandes. Leur mise en service permettrait de remplacer les <strong>Norman Commodore<\/strong> et <strong>Commodore Clipper (3)<\/strong>, deux ferries rouliers proposant une capacit\u00e9 deux fois inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des nouveaux navires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier des deux ferries d\u00e9bute son service le 19 juin 1995. La quille du second ferry est pos\u00e9e le 14 mars 1995. Le navire est lanc\u00e9 le 06 novembre 1995 et est livr\u00e9 le 1er mars 1996 \u00e0 <em>NYDA Shipping Ltd<\/em>. Les logos Commodore sont alors effac\u00e9s de la coque de <strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong>, qui conserve n\u00e9anmoins la coque bleue marine qu&rsquo;il arborait pour Commodore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> conna\u00eet son premier incident notable le 10 d\u00e9cembre 2007, lorsque le roulier heurte la marina de Saint-H\u00e9lier en accostant. L&rsquo;une des h\u00e9lices de <strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> est s\u00e9v\u00e8rement endommag\u00e9e dans la collision, contraignant <strong>Condor Ferries<\/strong> \u00e0 affr\u00e9ter le <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/20\/m-v-coutances-1978-2007-truckline-brittany-ferries\/\" title=\"M\/V Coutances (1978-2007) \u2013 Truckline &amp; Cependant, le ferry reste enregistr\u00e9 dans les Bahamas. Durant l&rsquo;hiver 2015, <strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> est repeint pour adopter la nouvelle identit\u00e9 graphique de <strong>Condor Ferries<\/strong>. S&rsquo;il conserve une coque bleue, cette derni\u00e8re adopte une teinte plus fonc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped Goodwill<\/strong> est victime d&rsquo;une fuite d&rsquo;huile au cours du mois d&rsquo;ao\u00fbt 2022, qui contraint <strong>Condor Ferries<\/strong> \u00e0 le transf\u00e9rer \u00e0 Dunkerque pour \u00eatre mis en cale s\u00e8che. L&rsquo;arr\u00eat technique dure une dizaine de jours, mais est suivi un mois plus tard d&rsquo;un nouvel arr\u00eat technique &#8211; programm\u00e9 &#8211; qui se d\u00e9roule \u00e0 Santander. L&rsquo;une de ses h\u00e9lices et son arbre sont endommag\u00e9s pendant que <strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> est man\u0153uvr\u00e9 pour entre en cale s\u00e8che.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peu de temps apr\u00e8s son retour en service, <strong>Commodore Goodwill<\/strong> entre en collision avec un chalutier, l&rsquo;<em>\u00c9cume II<\/em>, le 8 d\u00e9cembre 2022. La collision se produit sur la c\u00f4te ouest de Jersey et engendre le naufrage du chalutier. Les trois membres d&rsquo;\u00e9quipage du bateau de p\u00eache sont port\u00e9s disparus en mer suite \u00e0 cette collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
