Il fut par la suite utilis\u00e9 au Danemark, puis en Espagne jusqu&rsquo;en 2001. Il est le deuxi\u00e8me exemplaire de la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de car-ferries \u00e0 grande vitesse produits par le chantier tasmanien. <strong>Condor 11<\/strong> est lanc\u00e9 un an plus tard, le 21 juillet 1994.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le 8 octobre 1994, <strong>Condor 11<\/strong> acquiert une notori\u00e9t\u00e9 mondiale lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;\u00e9choue sur les Black Jack Rocks, au sud d&rsquo;Hobart, au cours d&rsquo;essai en mer. Le catamaran arrive en Angleterre le 2 avril 1995. Command\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine pour op\u00e9rer la ligne Aarhus &#8211; Kalundborg (Danemark), il y r\u00e9alise ses premi\u00e8res travers\u00e9es commerciales en mai 1995.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un nouveau catamaran pour Condor Ferries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le 1er avril 1993, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/02\/hsc-condor-10-1993-2002-2010-condor-ferries\/\" title=\"HSC Condor 10 (1993-1994, 2002-2010) | Condor Ferries\">Condor 10<\/a><\/strong> op\u00e8re la premi\u00e8re travers\u00e9e d&rsquo;un car-ferry \u00e0 grande vitesse entre l&rsquo;Angleterre et les \u00celes Anglo-normandes. Avec sa capacit\u00e9 de 80 voitures, il peine cependant \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre au succ\u00e8s de la ligne. Pour l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 1995, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/29\/condor-ferries-lhistoire-depuis-1964\/\" title=\"Condor Ferries | L\u2019histoire depuis 1964\"><strong>Condor Ferries<\/strong><\/a> recherche un navire plus capacitaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec sa capacit\u00e9 de 139 voitures, <strong>Condor 11<\/strong> retient l&rsquo;attention de <strong>Condor Ferries<\/strong>, qui compte l\u2019affr\u00e9ter \u00e0 compter du printemps 1995. L&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 sera n\u00e9anmoins marqu\u00e9 par une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;incident techniques. Malgr\u00e9 son port en lourd plus important que celui de <strong>Condor 10<\/strong>, <strong>Condor 11<\/strong> dispose d&rsquo;une motorisation similaire. En cons\u00e9quence, il ne parvient pas \u00e0 tenir ses horaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces incidents confortent le choix de <strong>Condor Ferries<\/strong> d&rsquo;affr\u00e9ter un autre navire pour la saison estivale 1996. <strong>Condor 11<\/strong> op\u00e8re sa derni\u00e8re rotation vers les \u00eeles Anglo-normandes en octobre, laissant au <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/19\/m-v-cornouailles-1977-1989-brittany-ferries\/\" title=\"M\/V Cornouailles (1977-1989) \u2013 Brittany Ferries\">Havelet<\/a><\/strong> le monopole du service durant l&rsquo;hiver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une carri\u00e8re erratique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s son affr\u00e8tement dans les \u00eeles Anglo-normandes, le catamaran est renomm\u00e9 <strong>Cat-Link II,<\/strong> et introduit sur la ligne Aarhus &#8211; Kalundborg. Il y op\u00e8re ses premi\u00e8res travers\u00e9es le 18 d\u00e9cembre 1995. Le 13 mars 1997, <strong>Cat-Link II<\/strong> s&rsquo;attire une nouvelle fois l&rsquo;attention m\u00e9diatique, lorsqu&rsquo;il saborde le navire de p\u00eache Lissi et le coule. Dans les m\u00eames ann\u00e9es, le catamaran est vendu \u00e0 <em>CBA Asia Pte<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le catamaran op\u00e8re sa derni\u00e8re travers\u00e9e en mer Baltique le 22 mai 1998. Il est imm\u00e9diatement affr\u00e9t\u00e9 par <strong>EuroFerrys<\/strong>, qui le renomme <strong>Euroferrys I<\/strong>. En mai 2002, il est d\u00e9plac\u00e9 \u00e0 Portland (Angleterre). Un temps renomm\u00e9 <strong>Cat-Link II<\/strong>, il est renomm\u00e9 <strong>Elanora<\/strong> en d\u00e9cembre 2002. En 2003, <strong>Elanora<\/strong> est envoy\u00e9 aux chantiers naval de Portsmouth pour car\u00e9nage. Il est ensuite renvoy\u00e9 \u00e0 Weymouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En ao\u00fbt 2004, le catamaran est affr\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>Jetlink A\/S Moss<\/strong>, pour op\u00e9rer une ligne entre Frederikshavn (Danemark) et Moss (Norv\u00e8ge). Le catamaran appareille pour Frederikshavn o\u00f9 il arrive le 26 janvier 2005. Mais la ligne ne verra pas le jour. Le catamaran finit par \u00eatre vendu \u00e0 l&rsquo;amateur \u00e9gyptien <strong>El Salam Maritime<\/strong>, et renomm\u00e9 <strong>Far\u00e8s 2<\/strong>.
