Ces dimensions sont alors plut\u00f4t importantes pour un navire de cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Le navire est en effet destin\u00e9 \u00e0 op\u00e9rer la plus ancienne lignes de la compagnie, reliant Harwich (Angleterre) \u00e0 Esbjerg (Danemark).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La quille de <strong>Dana Anglia<\/strong> est pos\u00e9e le 21 mai 1975 et le navire lanc\u00e9 le 21 juin 1977. Apr\u00e8s finalisation de ces am\u00e9nagements, <strong>Dana Anglia<\/strong> est r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 par <strong>DFDS<\/strong> le 28 avril 1978. <strong>Dana Anglia<\/strong> est baptis\u00e9 le 04 mai 1978 \u00e0 Londres. Pour pouvoir passer sous Tower Bridge, la section sup\u00e9rieure de sa chemin\u00e9e n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9e. Le 29 d\u00e9cembre 1982, la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 du navire est transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 <strong>K\/F Difko XXI<\/strong>. Il sera rachet\u00e9 par <strong>DFDS<\/strong> le 29 d\u00e9cembre 1989. Ces changements sont sans effets sur son service sur la ligne Harwich &#8211; Esbjerg. Il est n\u00e9anmoins affr\u00e9t\u00e9 en janvier 1987 par <strong>Sealink<\/strong>, puis op\u00e9r\u00e9 sur la ligne Oslo (Norv\u00e8ge) &#8211; Copenhague (Danemark) durant l&rsquo;hiver 1988-1989.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duke of Scandinavia pour IJmuiden &#8211; Newcastle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2000, <strong>Dana Anglia<\/strong> est \u00e9quip\u00e9 de r\u00e9serves de flottabilit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaires aux chantiers <em>Remontowa<\/em> de Gda\u0144sk. Cependant, apr\u00e8s 20 ans de service sur la ligne Harwich &#8211; Esbjerg, sa capacit\u00e9 pour le fret est d\u00e9sormais insuffisante. En pr\u00e9vision de l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 2003, <strong>DFDS<\/strong> acquiert donc d&rsquo;engager un navire plus capacitaire, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breizh-ferries.com\/index.php\/2025\/07\/11\/m-v-baie-de-seine-2015-2020-brittany-ferries\/\" title=\"M\/V Baie de Seine (2015 \u2013 2020) \u2013 Brittany Ferries\">Dana Sirena<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dana Anglia<\/strong> op\u00e8re sa derni\u00e8re travers\u00e9e d&rsquo;Harwich vers Esbjerg le 29 septembre 2002. \u00c0 son arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 Esbjerg, il est rebaptis\u00e9 <strong>Duke of Scandinavia<\/strong> et r\u00e9immatricul\u00e9 \u00e0 Copenhague (Danemark). Durant l&rsquo;hiver, le ferry est d\u00e9sarm\u00e9 s&rsquo;il ne couvre pas les car\u00e9nages d&rsquo;autres navires de la flotte. Durant l&rsquo;hiver 2014-2015, <strong>Moby Corse<\/strong> est affr\u00e9t\u00e9 comme h\u00f4tel flottant dans l&rsquo;archipel de Sylt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 compter de 2015, <strong>Moby Corse<\/strong> est op\u00e9r\u00e9 entre G\u00eanes et Bastia durant l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9, et continue d&rsquo;assurer des remplacements hors-saison. Les restrictions de circulation li\u00e9es \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de Covid-19 laissent n\u00e9anmoins le navire d\u00e9sarm\u00e9 durant l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 2020. Il reprend du service fin-d\u00e9cembre, lorsqu&rsquo;il est affect\u00e9 \u00e0 la ligne Naples (Italie) &#8211; Cagliari (Sardaigne, Italie). Il op\u00e8re \u00e9galement des services suppl\u00e9mentaires sur la ligne Civitavecchia (Italie) &#8211; Olbia (Sardaigne, Italie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un ferry proche du d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l&rsquo;issue de l&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 2024, <strong>Moby Line<\/strong> met en vente <strong>Moby Corse<\/strong>. Il est acquis par <strong>Ferry Med Srl<\/strong>, qui projette de l&rsquo;affr\u00e9ter \u00e0 <strong>L&rsquo;Aures Sarl<\/strong> sur des lignes reliant l&rsquo;Alg\u00e9rie \u00e0 la France et l&rsquo;Espagne. Le navire est alors renomm\u00e9 <strong>Santa Cruz<\/strong>, mais reste d\u00e9sarm\u00e9 dans le port de G\u00eanes. En janvier 2025, <strong>Santa Cruz<\/strong> est d\u00e9tenu par les autorit\u00e9s italiennes, au motif que l&rsquo;\u00e9quipage n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 pay\u00e9 au cours des trois mois pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le propri\u00e9taire parvient n\u00e9anmoins \u00e0 d\u00e9gager les fonds n\u00e9cessaires pour payer les arri\u00e9r\u00e9s de salaire. Il est alors \u00e9voqu\u00e9 une mise en service sur une ligne reliant Oran (Alg\u00e9rie) \u00e0 Alicante (Espagne) \u00e0 compter du 7 f\u00e9vrier 2025.
